The Role

Plan and execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and usability tests for web applications and APIs. Create and maintain test cases and QA documentation, log and track defects with replication steps, validate integrations and performance, collaborate with developers and product teams, participate in sprint planning and release sign-offs, and improve QA processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or QA Engineering

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes

Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated systems

Proficiency with QA and bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Postman, TestRail, or similar platforms

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Ability to write clear, structured, and actionable bug reports

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments

Experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright is an added advantage

Basic understanding of databases and API response validation

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively

Skills Required
