A day in the Life of our QA Engineer 

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our complex cloud applications within the Altium 365 - Requirements Portal R&D team. You’ll collaborate closely with developers to design, implement, and execute tests that maintain high reliability, performance, and an excellent user experience.

  • Create clear, comprehensive test documentation to ensure full feature coverage.
  • Rigorously test new features to detect and prevent defects before release.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to maintain product stability and consistency across releases.

Qualifications

What We're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer testing complex web-based systems
  • Experience creating comprehensive test plans and using test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with API-level testing
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the broader system impact
  • Experience working within mature and complex SDLC processes
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity)
