We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The resource will be responsible to establish, implement, and evolve automation‑focused QA processes to ensure delivery of high‑quality software products.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Program Managers, Development, and Support teams to deliver quality-focused QA outcomes.
- Review business and design requirements and derive comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing across web and backend applications.
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger and validate responses against business requirements.
- Conduct database testing by validating data integrity using SQL queries.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools and ensure proper closure through retesting.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Developers, DevOps, and QA team members to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Provide testing status, metrics, and sign-off reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2 to 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with clients and communicate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in the financial services domain is a strong plus, with the ability to understand asset classes and financial instruments.
Technical Requirements
- Coding experience in Python
- Understanding of automation concepts, with familiarity in Playwright
- Database testing with SQL Server, knowledge of Postman, Swagger
