Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will need to:

Understand product domain and functionality, translate functional requirements and specifications into lean documented test cases and steps,

Owning quality engineering tasks, such as Manual Tests creation, execution and documentation,

Making technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact,

Integrating project testing with continuous-integration process,

Appling principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques,

Work closely with peers and engage with a global, fast paced technical design and development team to deliver tasks to meet product release goals,

Demonstrate an understanding of Agile software development methods and drive the advancement of test automation within the organization's development methodology,

Maintain and enhance existing Regression test suites, automation scripts and frameworks,

Developing and executing maintainable automated tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases,

Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities,

Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution,

Ensure automation aligns with business requirements and quality standards,

Complete all planned Quality \& Compliance training within the defined deadlines Qualifications/Requirements.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

2-4 years of professional experience in Product Development and Testing, with significant automation experience.

Proven hands-on experience with writing manual test cases, Preparing test plans, regression testing, exploratory testing,

Identify issues, risks and dependencies escalating and managing where appropriate

Able to translate product requirements into feature files,

Capability to critically evaluate how features operate and how tests should be created,

Detail-oriented personality, keeping documentations in high quality state for any possible audit,

Proven hands-on experience with object-oriented design and programming languages like Java, TypeScript or JavaScript,

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).

Knowledge of Project management tool like Rally,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,

Analytical mindset.

Desired Characteristics:

Experience with the following Automation tools: Selenium, Playwright etc.

Knowledge of frameworks like BDD and Data-Driven frameworks,

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins),

Knowledge/Experience of Healthcare products/services.

Experience on SAP hybris or Oracle ERP systems will have a competitive edge.
