The Role

Morse Micro is redefining wireless connectivity with next-generation Wi-Fi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah) technology. Role Overview 
We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to take ownership of validation and quality assurance across our ecosystem - including Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud-based services , products and their embedded firmware.
This role requires a strong technical foundation, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance products that seamlessly connect hardware and software at great scale

Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation scripts across mobile, cloud, and firmware layers.
  • Validate Android and iOS mobile apps for UI/UX, functionality, performance, and compatibility across devices.
  • Verify services and backend APIs (REST, WebSocket, TCP/UDP) for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Perform end-to-end system validation, ensuring seamless communication between firmware, cloud, and mobile clients.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile apps, APIs, and device-level interactions.
  • Validate OTA firmware updates, network resilience, and real-time event handling.
  • Establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines and maintain regression suites.
  • Track, document, and communicate test results using modern QA tools and dashboards (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Champion best practices for test coverage, traceability, and defect prevention.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in QA/QC for mobile, backend, or embedded systems.
  • Strong experience testing Android and iOS apps (manual + automation).
  • Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Insomnia).
  • Experience with network-level testing (TCP/UDP sockets, MQTT, WebSockets).
  • Familiarity with firmware validation and hardware-in-loop testing.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, PyTest, Playwright, Robot Framework).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and RESTful microservice architectures.
  • Experience with IoT ecosystems and edge-to-cloud validation.
  • Familiarity with security testing, including TLS, token auth, and API rate limits.
  • Hands-on with firmware flashing, UART/serial logs, or BLE/Wi-Fi device testing.
  • Proficiency in test data management and performance/load testing.
