This Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Systel products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Quality Engineer will identify and address quality issues, implement corrective actions, problem-solve, and drive continuous improvement.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team.
Who You Are
This Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Systel products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Quality Engineer will identify and address quality issues, implement corrective actions, problem-solve, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances, customer complaints, and field failures.
- Manage the CAPA and NCR process, including investigation, documentation, and follow-up.
- Perform incoming and in-process inspections, including first article inspections (FAI).
- Conduct failure analysis and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality requirements and risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ITAR.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, reduce cost, and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the Engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of CAPA, NCR, ruggedized devices, advanced electronics, SMT, FAI, failure analysis, and customer quality.
- Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
