We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards that make GoodHabitz a trusted platform for our users. You’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test plans to ensure our platform remains reliable, user-friendly, and capable of supporting diverse learning experiences across our global user base. What You'll Do 🎯 :
Test Planning and Strategy
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to our e-learning platform, ensuring our content and technology meet high quality and usability standards.
- Create and document QA processes to foster continuous improvement across our software development lifecycle.
Manual and Automated Test Execution
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to reproduce and resolve software issues.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and contribute to preventive measures for future releases.
Automation Development and Optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Optimize our automated testing framework to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable releases.
- Research and recommend new testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Quality Advocacy
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to understand requirements, ensuring that testing supports both technical objectives and user experience goals.
- Advocate for quality and best practices within agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
What You’ll Bring to the Team 🔧 :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing in a SaaS or digital product environment.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes with a proven track record of improving product quality.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and basic scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work efficiently in an agile team environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g.,K6 ).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and understanding of DevOps best practices.
