We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to join our team in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Leganto and build connections between students, instructors, and the library. The team consists of 10 members and will report to the team leader. We have a great skill set in Quality assurance engineering and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Java and Automation testing.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in manual and automated testing
- 0-2 years of experience in Java/JEE development
- High proficiency in English – both written and spoken
It would be great if you also had . . .

Experience with relational databases (Oracle), SQL, and Hibernate persistence framework.

Experience working in an Agile Development environment.

Ability to research and implement new technologies.
What will you be doing in this role?

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code by coding standards.

Work closely with engineers to increase functional knowledge.

Learn and apply best practices in software development.

Develop and apply an understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodology.

Suggest alternative methodologies or techniques to achieve desired results.

Maintains awareness of technical advances.

Manually tests and unit tests all assigned applications.

Write application technical documentation.

Leganto is a course materials solution that automatically links course materials with the library collection. Leganto builds connections between students, instructors, and the library to ensure students can easily access the resources they need to succeed in their courses.

The team consists of 10 team members +TL.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, hybrid mode.
This is a full-time position.
