A little about the role…

ChildPlus Software is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to implement automated testing for our next-generation Head Start management software platform. As the first Quality Assurance Engineer at ChildPlus, you will be building our automated testing platform from the ground up. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with our Quality Assurance, Software Engineering, and Design teams to build and run a suite of automated tests.

Technology Stack

  • Angular front-end (Typescript, CSS, and HTML5) 
  • ASP.NET Core (C#) 
  • Microsoft SQL Server with Entity Framework 
  • XtraReports Reporting Engine

What You’ll Do…

  • Test current products and identify deficiencies
  • Create test automation scripts and execution plans 
  • Suggest solutions to identified product problems 
  • Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
  • Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects
  • Collect quality data
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality
  • Execute daily activities with minimal supervision

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or related experience
  • 2 or more years' of experience with one or more test automation tools 
  • Experience writing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database 
  • Strong organization skills and great attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
