The Senior Staff Quality Assurance Engineer will bring extensive QA experience in test planning, execution, defect management. Proficient with test automation tools/frameworks to create automated test suites. Strong grasp of testing methodologies including regression, integration and performance. Programming expertise to write/maintain test scripts. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Skilled in bug tracking/management. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Functions:
Develop and implement test strategies and plans for software products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency.
Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
Define and track quality metrics to measure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning and execution.
Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing.
Strong knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
Experience with performance testing and profiling tools.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a QA team.
Experience with testing mobile applications and web services.
