We are seeking an early-career Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team in Overland Park, KS. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about manual testing, eager to learn, and excited to build a long-term career in healthcare technology. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions that have a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
As a QA Engineer, you’ll work closely with engineers, product teams, and QA leaders to test new and existing functionality, develop thoughtful test scenarios, and help ensure our applications meet defined requirements and high-quality standards. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to modern testing tools—including AI-assisted testing approaches—to support your growth into a senior-level QA role over time.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
- Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing on new and existing software solutions.
- Evaluate software against business requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases in MyQA, including both positive and negative testing.
- Participate in API endpoint testing using tools such as Postman.
- Use SQL to validate data integrity and backend results.
- Identify, document, and track defects clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with developers and product partners during design reviews to provide testing insights.
- Contribute to end-user and technical documentation reviews.
- Support accurate task estimation and deliver testing activities on schedule.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be able to work out of Overland Park, KS
- 1+ year of experience (or strong internship experience) in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software QA principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience writing and executing manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Ability to read and interpret business and technical requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Logical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools).
- Basic experience with SQL for data validation.
- Exposure to Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with structured software delivery processes.
- Experience testing web, desktop, or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of where test automation fits within the QA lifecycle.
