Job Description
Your crew during this flight:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Your mission during this flight:
- You prepare and keep up to date Control and Inspection Plans for warehouse, part manufacturing and assembly operations.
- You conduct inspections of materials, components and finished products to ensure compliance with design and industry standards.
- You prepare and review FAI plans.
- You actively participate CCB (Configuration Control Board) and CIB (Change Implementation Board) meetings and ensure timely implementation of changes to affected processes and Control/Inspection Plans.
- You analyze Non-conformity Reports and monitor the trends of the defects at responsible areas.
- You monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report upper manager off-track results together with recovery plan proposals.
- You work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization to resolve project issues in a timely manner.
- You assist in the development of process improvements and descriptions in accordance with Part 21, EN9100 and other applicable aerospace industry standards and guidelines.
- You are responsible for Quality Assurance input to Supplier Quality Team: NCR trends, defect analysis
- You ensure sustainable solutions and continual improvement by driving root cause analysis(RCA) and corrective action identification
- You ensure the calibration processes are being executed as required
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
- Degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace/Quality Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in quality assurance engineering role in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of aviation-relevant regulations (Part 21, EN9100, EN9102)
- Knowledge of problem-solving methods (5W, Ishikawa, 8D)
- Knowledge of PFMEA, NCR and RCA practices
- Ability to solve constantly evolving problems
- Fluent communication (written and verbal) skills in English and German
- Confident in using MS Office, PLM and ERP tools (Teamcenter and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is plus)
- Ability to travel
