Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality control process of shipping and receiving fabricated parts used during multiple assembly processes. Additionally, they will be responsible for verifying the authenticity and quality of components procured from third party suppliers.
Essential Duties
- Oversee the quality control process of shipping and receiving fabricated parts used in the assembly process.
- Inspect incoming fabricated parts for conformity to specifications, including dimensions, material type and finish.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address any quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Conduct thorough inspections of components procured from third-party suppliers to verify their authenticity and quality.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Work closely with assembly and engineering management to address any quality concerns and implement improvements in the assembly process.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide timely and comprehensive reports on quality performance metrics.

Education
Required
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a relevant field from an accredited university.
Experience
Required
- 2 years of proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, inspection tools, and industry standards (ISO 9001 familiarity a plus).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, components, and basic industrial equipment maintenance.
- Proficient in inspecting fabricated and third-party components for compliance with specifications and documentation requirements.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being an effective team player in cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, adaptability, and hands-on technical aptitude in assembly and testing contexts.
- Comfortable managing shifting priorities in fast-paced, dynamic settings with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Skilled in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects, maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills—able to clearly convey findings, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and deliver detailed reports.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control procedures and documentation.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership in achieving quality objectives.
- Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read in English.
