Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Latvia Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll take care of ensuring the consistent quality, safety, and compliance of renewable energy projects, equipment, processes, and procedures. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Conducting comprehensive inspections of renewable energy projects, equipment, and components at all stages
- Collaborating with teams for regular project audits and process check
- Leading QA/QC activities, ensuring adherence to standards within specific projects
- Identifying and report quality issues, implement corrective actions
- Maintaining records, prepare detailed improvement reports
- Assessing supplier and material quality, conduct audits
- Identifying process improvement opportunities with the Quality Assurance Manager
- Delivering quality-related training to enhance compliance
- Advising project team on quality management matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within renewables, construction, or manufacturing sectors
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of quality management principles and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and familiarity with quality methodologies
- Proficiency in renewable energy project construction methodologies, inspection, testing techniques, and material verification, including coordination with external auditors for quality assessment
- Expertise in third-party auditing processes and quality assessment
- Proficiency in quality assurance and control methodologies, non-conformance management, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- English language skills and a driving license.
