About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Tester with Real time automation experience on Appium using Java to test mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web applications..

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain and extend automation test scripts using Appium + Java.
Design, write, and execute detailed test cases.
Conduct manual testing across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
Perform functional, regression, risk-based, and exploratory testing.
Identify, log, and track defects & bugs, working closely with developers and Product team for resolution.
Participate in the end-to-end SDLC and STLC processes for new products.
Review and maintain test artifacts (test cases, test data, test reports).
Perform API testing using Postman, Charles Proxy.
Collaborate in CI/CD environments with Git and Jenkins.
Ensure proper test case prioritization for efficient execution.
Support event monitoring validation using Amplitude.
Work with test management tools such as Jira for planning and defect tracking.

Skill and Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–4 years of proven experience in manual testing for mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications.
Strong attention to detail and structured testing approach.
Hands-on experience with:

Appium + Java (advantage for automation)

API testing: Postman, Charles Proxy

Event monitoring: Amplitude

Test management: Jira

Familiarity with test design techniques and different testing types (risk-based, ad hoc, exploratory).
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins.
Strong skills in test case prioritization and execution planning.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
