We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile professional to join our quality assurance team. This position will work on a scrum team handling testing of features developed by the team. It will require a balance between both manual software testing and automation development using C# and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in QA principles and methodologies, be capable of developing and executing detailed test cases, and be proficient at automating those test cases to be integrated into the team’s regularly executed regression test suite.
Essential Duties
Manual testing
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Apply QA methodologies and best practices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with teammates to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and defects throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform manual exploratory testing to discover issues that automated tests might miss.
Automation Development
- Automate the execution of manual test cases using C# and Selenium, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
- Analyze test automation results, troubleshoot failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience with test automation tools and technologies and knowledge of code logic to support the tools and tests required
- Ability to create scripts using C# preferred.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming required.
- Strong SQL knowledge required
- Proven experience in both manual QA testing and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of QA principles, test planning, and test case development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
- Experience with Selenium preferred
- Experience with automated testing of application solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS preferred
