Requirements
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead manual and automation testing efforts across pre- and post-release phases. The role involves ensuring application quality, identifying defects, and supporting business needs through robust testing practices. You will also guide a testing team, working in a fast-paced environment where applications serve both internal teams and external clients. Strong communication, client service orientation, and timely delivery are essential. Training will be provided on current and next-generation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert for assigned domains, covering various testing types, application functionality, and business needs.
Review requirements for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with QA leads to design test scenarios and related test cases.
Execute test cases, log defects, and document results.
Perform functional, smoke, regression, and non-functional testing (usability, accessibility, performance).
Troubleshoot defects and verify fixes.
Generate QA metrics using tools like MS Excel and provide actionable recommendations.
Promote quality, security, and best practices as an active team member.
Education/Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
Must-Have Skills:
1–2 years of software testing experience.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (Scaled Agile framework).
Experience with testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic team environments with shifting priorities.
Proven ability to integrate effectively with existing teams.
Good-to-Have Skills:
QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
Automation scripting using TOSCA or other low-code automation tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to build professional relationships and collaborate effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with solid research and presentation abilities.
