Job description:
This position assists in quality event management in compliance with regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
Job Responsibilities:
Any DC Specialist 1 and 2 responsibilities
Manage Quality Events including change controls, nonconformances, deviations, corrective and preventive actions, etc.
Lead cross-functional teams in change control initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and compliance with regulatory standards
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of document control processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and standardization across all departments
Mentor other document users, including other DC Specialists, in instructional documentation practices and quality events
Drive process automation and system enhancements to improve document management workflows and optimize efficiency
Collaborate with management and regulatory teams to ensure documentation aligns with audit and compliance expectations, supporting regulatory inspections and internal/external audits
May cover for DC leads who are out of office
Support regulatory audits as assigned
May be required to work annual company convention
Performs other duties as assigned by QA Management
Job Qualifications:
Associate degree required, bachelor’s preferred
Minimum 3 years in document control within a regulated environment, with leadership experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Quality Management Systems, Electronic Resources Planning systems, and Project Management systems
Must be skilled in technical writing, editing, and document lifecycle management
Strong problem-solving skills, experience managing escalations, leading large-scale projects, and driving continuous improvement
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative
Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills
Adaptable to change, able to manage competing priorities, and comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Must be willing and able to spend most of the workday performing computer-based
tasks
