The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the Quality Management program at Vivent Health by compiling and analyzing data from multiple record systems and population health tools.

This role is essential for Vivent Health’s continuous quality improvement activities, monitoring performance against agency quality improvement workplan goals, identifying gaps in care, and determining staff training needs. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will be expected to participate and contribute to the Vivent Health Quality Improvement Committee. 

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for internal and external coordination to secure deliverables for grant funders including routine reporting and site visits.

Reporting to the Director of Quality Management, the Coordinator will assist in overseeing organization-wide quality improvement efforts and identifying opportunities for internal quality enhancement, alignment, and optimization. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will provide comprehensive support for Vivent Health's quality initiatives and act as a liaison between the Health Services Optimization team, operational leadership, clinical providers, social services and prevention staff.


Essential Job Duties

  • Provide monitoring and support for the Vivent Health Annual Quality improvement workplan.
  • Coordinate with internal and external data teams to compile and disseminate performance reports to department leaders and site-level clinical quality workgroups.
  • Provide administrative support to the Vivent Health Quality Improvement Committee activities including recording and disseminating meeting minutes and drafting action plans for follow-up items.
  • Provide comprehensive support to Vivent Health staff for the Press Ganey patient experience survey platform, including user management, user training, and report distribution.
  • Provide support to consumer advisory activities for assigned Vivent Health location(s).
  • Support Vivent Health’s compliance with funding source requirements related to service delivery documentation, ongoing audits, and other quality management activities.
  • Participate with internal operations leadership to support and coordinate continuous monitoring and annual reporting activities for HRSA and Ryan White programs for assigned Vivent Health site location(s).
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of HRSA Ryan White quality improvement projects as outlined by regional/state funder quality programs, including outcome reporting and PDSA cycles.
  • Support Quality Improvement activities for of the National Committee of Quality Assurance’s Patient Centered Medical Home recognition.
  • Ability to travel for training and/or to work with remote stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Required and preferred knowledge and experiences to succeed.  

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years in health care and/or public health; relevant experience may substitute for the preferred degree.
    • Knowledge of and sensitivity to the LGBTQIA+ and HIV/AIDS patient population, and/or an eagerness to learn about this community.
    • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Technical Experience:
    • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools and software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Effective and practical organizational skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, work in a multidisciplinary team environment, and build relationships with clinicians.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    • HIV experience in a not-for-profit environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of HIV disease and related issues, disease progression, and treatment options
    • Demonstrated successful experience in clinical quality/population health role in a health care setting preferably in a community-based, non-profit service organization or health department.
    • Demonstrated successful experience in working with clinical providers such as physicians, dentists, and mental health therapists especially in interdisciplinary teams.
    • Demonstrated successful experience in working with social services providers such as case managers, food and nutrition, and HIV prevention staff especially in interdisciplinary teams.
    • Experience working with Ryan White programs and HRSA Reporting
    • Certified Tableau Data Analyst

Pay Rate:

Starting at $64,000/annually (Depending on Experience)

The final salary will be determined based on factors such as market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications. Please note that it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
