About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you are responsible for executing JSX’s audit program in accordance with the GMM. You work closely with all areas of Technical Operations, as well as outside maintenance and service providers, to ensure all deviations and findings are properly documented and effectively resolved.
A Day in the Life:
Your day will be detail-driven and compliance-focused, centered around ensuring audit integrity and continuous operational improvement. Typical responsibilities include:
- Audit Execution: Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with JSX’s GMM, documenting all findings accurately within the audit system.
- Fuel Audit Compliance: Perform IFQP Level Fuel Audits in alignment with IATA standards.
- Audit Planning & Scheduling: Maintain and update the audit schedule in accordance with the current CASS Audit Program outlined in the GMM.
- Findings & Corrective Actions: Track all audit findings and ensure corrective actions are received within required timeframes based on the severity category.
- Corrective Action Review: Evaluate responses to audit findings to ensure root cause identification, interim mitigation, and long-term corrective action plans are thorough and effective.
- Investigations & Special Audits: Conduct audits and investigations as requested by management or the CASS Review Board, including annual reviews of materials and aircraft repair facilities.
- Follow-Up Evaluations: Perform comprehensive, special, and follow-up evaluations to verify compliance and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Reporting & Metrics: Generate detailed audit reports for CASS and Audit Review Board meetings, including completed audits, open findings, and corrective action timelines.
- Process Oversight: Audit internal and external policies and procedures, including IEP checklists, to ensure the effectiveness of the overall audit program.
- Additional Support: Perform other duties as assigned in support of audit and compliance objectives.

Required Experience:
- High school diploma/GED
- Will require consistent travel to perform audits throughout our system.
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of aviation audit experience regarding Internal/External IEP for part 135 or equivalent.
Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:
- Adept in using the Microsoft Office suite
Pay & Perks:
Compensation is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
