Your Career Starts Here

We're looking for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to build a career in financial services compliance – one of the most in-demand disciplines in UK financial services.

No prior financial services experience or qualifications are required. No degree is required, though graduates are welcome. If you have industry experience and are looking to move into compliance, we would particularly welcome your application.

Compliance is a growing field with strong career progression. This role gives you the foundation to move into more senior compliance positions as your experience and qualifications develop.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll review mortgage and protection advice files to ensure customers receive good outcomes and advisers are meeting regulatory standards. Day to day, that involves:

  • Examining mortgage applications, bank statements, income evidence, and affordability assessments against compliance requirements.
  • Identifying where advice falls short of FCA standards and internal policies.
  • Communicating findings clearly to advisers, in writing and by phone.
  • Contributing to quality assurance and reporting across the team.

This is detailed, analytical work. You'll develop a thorough understanding of how advice is regulated and gain the knowledge that underpins the compliance role in financial services.

Funded Professional Qualifications

Once established in the role, we support and fund two industry qualifications worth up to £2000 that give you professional credentials recognised across financial services.

CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice). The industry-standard Level 3 qualification. Your salary increases to £26,000 on completion.

CeRER (Certificate in Regulated Equity Release). A specialist qualification broadening your regulatory knowledge. Your salary increases to £27,000 on completion.
