Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with 5+ years of experience joining our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing. The role involves ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management. As a QA Analyst, you will collaborate closely with development teams to identify testing needs and improve testing efficiency.

This role is not limited to geographical boundaries or specific business teams and is part of a centre of excellence for digital tools and technologies that supports the larger business. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manual Testing Skills
    • 5+ years of experience in Manual testing with retail experience.
    • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
    • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
    • Proficient in identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools.
    • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functionality, regression, performance, etc.
  • Domain Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of integration between ERP, CRM, OMS, and WMS systems and how data flows across platforms.
  • Tools and Technologies
    • Hands-on testing experience on ERP tools, good knowledge of SQL / DB testing, API testing, version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket), and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr).

Required Skills

             

  • 5+ years of experience with retail testing.
  • 3+ hands-on experience with NetSuite, SCALE, OMS, Manhattan Systems and Salesforce.
  • Experience with testing Web Applications and enterprise platforms.
  • Performed integration and data validation testing to ensure accurate data flow between ERP, CRM, and WMS systems.
  • Hands-on experience testing through the development cycle and pre-release in an Agile framework 
  • Experience conducting and documenting RCA, Defect management and testing processes.
  • Testing process knowledge and ability to communicate with the development teams to provide constructive feedback and improvement tips. 
  • Basics of any UI automation tools.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases. 
  • Solid knowledge on tools like Jira, Zephyr & Confluence 

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in retail testing, ERP, OMS, and CRM systems.
  • Someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality and a passion for process.   
  • Strong advocate for the value position of Quality Assurance and thorough testing. 
  • This role requires the individual to work in the UK shift (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM India time).
  • Ability to take direction, constructive feedback, and work to specified deadlines
  • Adhere to processes and procedures defined for the role, the team, and the organization
  • Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work individually or within a team environment.
  • Ability to participate in managing projects, tasks, and priorities in a fast-track environment.
