The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that field operations are accurately translated into our business systems. This role bridges the gap between field technicians and back-office financials by manually validating Work Orders, updating asset databases (NetSuite and Yoda), and triggering accurate billing. As Specialists advance through the tiers, they handle increasingly complex technical data, moving from high-volume logistics to complex construction projects.
Core Responsibilities (Key Principles):1. Data & Field Validation
Read and interpret Work Orders and technician field notes.
Verify that the physical work performed (shipping, repairs, or new construction) perfectly matches the documented project scope and requirements.
2. Database Management (System Integrity)
Perform manual data entry to cross-reference and update back-office systems (NetSuite and Yoda/SQL).
Maintain accurate tracking of physical assets (Meters, Transponders) by logging new installations, updating repair histories, and attaching proof of delivery.
3. Financial Execution (Revenue Protection)
Serve as the final gatekeeper for billing accuracy.
Manually trigger NetSuite invoices only after confirming all unit counts, project multipliers, and service levels are 100% accurate.
4. Exception Handling & Resolution
Identify incomplete tickets (e.g., missing serial numbers, unclear tech notes).
Create follow-up tasks and communicate directly with field teams to resolve discrepancies and prevent backlog accumulation.
System Navigation: Proficiency in navigating enterprise ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite) and relational databases (Yoda/SQL interfaces).
Analytical Reading Comprehension: Strong ability to read, decipher, and interpret highly variable (and sometimes unclear) technician field notes to determine the exact physical work performed.
Extreme Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high data-entry accuracy over long periods, specifically regarding alphanumeric serial numbers, financial multipliers, and asset statuses.
Process Adherence: Strict dedication to following complex, multi-step validation rules to ensure 100% data integrity and prevent revenue leakage.
Communication Skills: Confidence to create follow-up tasks and communicate directly with project managers and field technicians to resolve missing or conflicting data.
