Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Bengaluru, IN

Reports to: Program Manager

Summary:

The Quality Control Analyst will create test plans and document all findings promptly. The Quality Control Analyst will be required to utilize them

communication skills to work with all relevant stakeholders through the project and ticket life cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Creates test plans based on business requirements for projects and tickets.

• Documents all testing findings and tracks testing progress.

• Assign tasks to IT developers to fix bug tracking.

• Responsible for Conditioning and Staging Accounts on Various credit card and loan servicing systems.

• Measure adherence to the policies and procedures set forth by our clients and by US regulations.

• Exception tracking and reporting of policy guidelines to department managers.

• Follows up with management, including but not limited to monitoring and coaching to ensure established goals and objectives are being met.

• Test new applications, programs, and company initiatives as needed.

• Performing additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with a good technical background.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the Fintech industry.

• Good understanding of SDLC process and experience with Waterfall & Agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with various internal teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure high-quality releases.

• Participate in review meetings and requirement analysis to provide valuable inputs on testability and quality aspects.

• Handle technical communications with the Eng & functional teams to understand design requirements and devise test cases accordingly.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word& Excel.

• Maintain accurate documentation and be able to communicate with other departments professionally and effectively.

• Agile-related certifications are a plus.

• Experience developing scalable test automation frameworks and tools for testingfront-end, back-end, and mobile applications is a plus.

• The candidate should be OK working in the US shift timings, which are currently set to 2 PM-11 PM IST and may change based on projects.

• Candidate should be OK to work hybrid or full-time in our Bangalore office if required.
