Position Summary

Work in a team environment reviewing and preparing documentation related to the qualification of steel pipe, tubing, fittings, flanges, and other related products for the nuclear power generation industry, ASME, ASTM and customer specifications.

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Preferred some secondary education.
  • Be familiar with ASME Section II or related regulations.
  • Candidates should be quality and safety-conscious, detail-oriented and have previous experience handling documentation of a technical nature.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write technical reports and correspondence.
  • Effectively communicate technical information verbally and in writing inside and outside the organization.
  • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry including calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.


Responsibilities


  • Review and verify internal sales order documentation and supplier purchase orders for technical requirements and accuracy.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and certification to be provided with the shipment of materials. 
  • Review documentation and certification provided by suppliers.
  • Work with customers, suppliers, 3rd party testing labs and various government quality inspectors and personnel.
  • Work cross functionally within Tioga to ensure successful and accurate completion of customer orders.
  • All other duties as assigned.
