Your Role: Advisor – Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance Advisor is primarily responsible for providing support to Terre Haute Manufacturing Operations and maintaining quality systems in a state of GMP compliance. The Advisor is also responsible for food/feed safety at the site. The individual influences performance and direction in quality systems by networking with Quality, Operations, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and Engineering Leadership both in Terre Haute and Clinton Indiana locations.
Your Responsibilities:

Influence Elanco Quality and Food/feed Safety Culture and Quality Standards direction and consult on interpretation and implementation of the Standards and common quality practices at the Terre Haute and Clinton sites.

Consult/Facilitate complex root cause investigations and critical technical issues

Facilitate change within the site and globally.

Ensure site readiness for inspections by various regulatory agencies, maintaining quality and food/feed safety systems and mentoring quality staff supporting Terre Haute and Clinton and contract manufacturing operations.

Provides technical leadership for quality system management, reviews, investigations and internal audit; Coach and Mentor others to increase general quality knowledge and expectations.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience- Science related field preferred

Experience: Minimum 10 years of cGMP in food, feed and/or medicated/pharmaceutical manufacturing

Expertise in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, HACCP, Food/Feed Safety and Manufacturing in a regulated environment preferred

Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills. Strong documentation skills, strong technical skills, effective communication, interpersonal skills and networking skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities, ability to work independently, proven record of decision making and attention to detail, computer applications, statistical analysis, and creative and innovative problem solving.

Proficient in use of computer systems required (Microsoft Office, Document Management, Maintenance Management, Inventory, Quality Systems)
