Responsible for developing, implementing and sustaining quality assurance programs to ensure existing and emerging risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored and controlled. Ensures quality standards are established in accordance with internal practices, risk and compliance policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain quality service standards set by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • 3 years of quality assurance, operations or process experience in a lending department.
  • Working experience in a financial services environment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with heavy workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations
  • Competence, knowledge, and understanding of credit union policies and procedures.
  • Professional and effective interaction, verbal and written communication skills.
  • LoansPQ and/or Symitar experience desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses proficient knowledge to provide guidance in the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of moderately complex quality assurance programs, practices and policies.
  • Verifies data input in system of record and certify accuracy of disclosures, in accordance with regulatory and credit union requirements.
  • Identifies and evaluates quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements. 
  • Administers quality assurance programs and communicates quality program decisions.
  • Prioritize workload to adhere to service level agreements and regulatory timeframes. Maintain communication with Consumer Lending areas to include management regarding status of audits.
  • Briefs key stakeholders and management on quality assurance review results, trends, studies, and initiatives, and recommends courses of action.
  • Keep current with knowledge of the credit union’s lending updates, criteria, guidelines, procedures, policies and processes. 
  • Ensure loan documentation is complete and accurate according to credit union policy requirements, lending guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in AML/BSA compliance training as assigned. Adhere to Credit Union AML/BSA policy and procedures including CTR rules and form preparation, identify and refer suspicious activity to the Compliance Department, perform OFAC comparisons, and properly identify individuals in accordance with Branch Operations procedures.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Saturday-Sunday OFF
Full Time- 40 hours a week

Skills Required
