Compensation: In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary: The Quality Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support for the Quality department functions, including contract compliance, quality improvement, learning & development, and board governance. This position will also support our agency Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts through data entry and reporting.
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Friday 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM; Every other Friday off!

- Opportunity for a hybrid schedule after 6 months of hire
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support meetings as requested by Quality staff through coordinating logistics, documenting minutes, communicating next steps, and tracking follow-up items. Act as an active note taker and synthesize notes for summary distribution as needed.
- Oversee spending and ensure all documentation is completed for Quality department company credit cards in compliance with Finance processes.
- Support accreditation, contract audits, and licensing activities by helping organize, preparing materials, etc. for submission deadlines and site visits.
- Provide oversight of Quality staff supplies with organization, purchasing, and distribution. Ensure adequate supplies/stationery and office equipment is maintained in compliance with inventory and finance processes.
- Support learning and development activities through data entry, reports, monitoring and responding to inquiries submitted to the Learning email inbox, entering external training verification forms into Relias, and printing/preparing training materials.
- Maintain department SharePoint site to maximize utilization and support organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High school diploma with 4 years experience or Associate degree with 2 years experience, required
- Bachelor’s degree; degree in related field and/or work experience in the social service field preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Zoom, Teams, web browser, etc.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with program participants, visitors, volunteers, and employees.
