This is an exciting opportunity to join a team leading digital transformation across the agriculture functions at McCain. We seek a highly capable Salesforce QA to ensure that our digital products reach our users with exceptional UX and first-time quality.
In this role, you will report through to the Digital delivery manager and work as part of a digital delivery team focused on producing solutions to both our internal and external users. The primary responsibility of this position is to Perform Unit, Functional, Smoke, Regression and System Integration Testing, as well as Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Load Testing, Deployment Testing, Security Testing and non-functional testing of salesforce and related solutions supporting our core business processes.
You will also design, create, execute and maintain test plans, cases and scripts. You should have experience with latest testing tools, best practices, QA methods and be experienced working in Agile delivery environments.
Typical Day Snapshot
- Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools/methodologies.
- Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results
- Write test cases and plans documented in accordance to acceptance criteria
- Perform unit, functional, smoke, integrations and regression testing
- Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specifications and have sufficient test coverage
- Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects - attending scrum review meetings and develop targeted test plans and cases.
- Helping define and roll out improvements to testing and quality processes across
- Leverage tools and reporting to track and report the progress and quality of testing
- Coordinate and manage the activities of tester resources we may leverage in our external Partners for large project.
- Maximize opportunities for automated testing
- Put in place a well-defined regression testing process for releases
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years' QA Experience
- Working knowledge in Salesforce CRM applications, including understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints highly desired.
- Hands on experience testing in the Salesforce classic and Lightning ecosystems.
- Object knowledge such as process flows, Omniscripts, Lightning, JAVA, Apex
- Experience with Salesforce.com Load testing; Salesforce.com Security testing; Salesforce.com CRM ad-hoc testing
- Salesforce test experience with end-to-end testing process and methods including system integrations and API testing.
- Experience on a Salesforce implementation project through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience supporting Salesforce solutions - in particular knowledge of Experience Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Experience with latest tools, best practices, QA methods and SAFe Agile delivery
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years) work experience.
