Summary
The Quality Analyst is responsible for leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts across multiple software platforms. This role ensures that solutions meet business requirements, perform as expected across integrated systems, and are ready for release. The Quality Analyst is a hands-on, manual tester with deep
system knowledge and a strong focus on test planning, execution, documentation, and defect management. This role works closely with product owners, software engineers, scrum masters, and business stakeholders to design and execute comprehensive test strategies that validate end-to-end workflows, integrations, and real-world use cases. The Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, reducing risk, and delivering reliable, well-tested solutions that support business outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with a strong ability to understand complex systems and how they interact.
Responsibilities
Lead UAT testing efforts across multiple applications and integrated systems.
Develop comprehensive test plans that align with business requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes.
Define testing scope, scenarios, and entry/exit criteria in partnership with product owners and stakeholders.
Ensure test coverage includes end-to-end workflows, integrations, edge cases, and regression scenarios.
Manual Test Execution
Execute manual test cases and scenarios to validate functionality, usability, and data integrity.
Utilize best practices with AI-driven testing processes.
Validate system integrations and data flows between internal platforms and external systems.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover risks, gaps, or unexpected behavior.
Re-test fixes and validate readiness for release.
Defect Management & Documentation
Identify, document, track, and validate defects with clear steps to reproduce and supporting detail.
Collaborate closely with software engineers to clarify issues, validate resolutions, and support troubleshooting.
Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date testing documentation including test cases, results, and summary reports.
Provide UAT status updates, defect trends, and risk assessments to delivery and product partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product owners to validate requirements and acceptance criteria from a user and business perspective.
Work closely with engineering teams during development and testing cycles.
Support delivery timelines by proactively identifying quality risks and dependencies.
Contribute to continuous improvement of UAT processes, standards, and documentation practices.
Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Experience in a Quality Analyst, UAT Tester, or similar role focused on manual testing of software applications.
Strong expertise in test planning, test case creation, execution, and documentation.
Deep understanding of complex systems, data flows, and system integrations.
Proven ability to validate end-to-end business processes across multiple applications.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Experience documenting and managing defects using tools such as Jira or similar systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple testing efforts simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
Familiarity with agile delivery environments and iterative development cycles.

Licensing and/or Certification
ISTQB, Agile Testing, or similar quality-related certifications are a plus.
