Quality Analyst II develops and executes test plans, test cases, scripts, and automation across Windows, UNIX, and portal environments. Job Summary:

Interface with various members of IT, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Business Analysts and Operations as well as vendors and clients to identify testing needs of the organization. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work with the QA Team on a per project basis to develop, execute test plans and run automation test scripts.

Let’s talk job responsibilities:

  • Testing in Windows, UNIX, and portal environments with traceability to requirements
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts through coordination with QA Manager and Team, Project Managers, Developers, Stakeholders, clients and vendors
  • Familiar with automation practices and able to identify automation scripts
  • Coordinate testing with UAT including defect tracking, metrics, escalations, and coordination with client
  • Follow QA methodology and procedures
  • Work independently with minimal guidance from Manager
  • Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues swiftly and professionally
  • Act in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Business, IT)
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or process improvement
  • Proven hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and creating comprehensive test documentation, including plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Skilled in using defect tracking tools, generating reports, and analyzing metrics to monitor quality and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, clients, and various organizational levels through strong written and verbal communication.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and able to perform in a dynamic work environment with professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and capable of writing efficient T-SQL SELECT queries with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and familiarity with API testing tools such as POSTMAN and SoapUI.
