Position Overview 

As the Quality and Process Excellence, you will play a key role in setting up the team, establishing and managing the Quality Management & Process Excellence function within our organisation. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and continually improving the quality function to meet service quality and budget goals. This role requires strong leadership, Process Improvement background, project management skills, and a deep understanding of US healthcare operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Establish Quality Management Function: 

Plan and set up the Quality Management function in alignment with organisational objectives. 

  • Operational Excellence Projects: 

Identify, execute, and deliver projects aimed at promoting an operational excellence culture within the organisation. 

  • Quality Team Management: 

Recruit, train, and oversee the quality segment across all service locations, including India, the Philippines, and America. 

Mentor, monitor, and retain a team of Quality Analysts across business operations and geographies. 

  • Quality and Benchmarking Initiatives: 

Lead and coordinate quality and benchmarking initiatives for end-to-end business processes. 

  • Performance Monitoring: 

Monitor and report quality performance across client accounts. 

Provide regular performance reports to operations and other stakeholders in the organisation. 

  • Process Improvement: 

Apply lean and project management principles to enhance process quality objectives. 

Lead complex process improvement and re-engineering projects. 

  • Collaboration and Communication: 

Collaborate with Operations Leads to ensure the team is aligned with client requirements and industry best practices. 

Work with cross-functional teams to standardise, automate, and re-engineer processes across various functions. 

  • Policy and Strategy Development: 

Lead the definition of policies, processes, strategies, standards, and guidelines using best practice frameworks. 

Review current approaches and suggest improvements to align with industry standards. 

  • Global Alignment: 

Support alignment between divisional and global strategies, regulations, and standards through collaboration with technology and business teams. 

Qualifications:

- Possesses a robust understanding of US Healthcare practices and procedures, coupled with in-depth knowledge of state, local, and federal regulations. 

- Demonstrates a strong grasp of provider data and proficient data management skills. 

- Ideally, has accumulated 2 - 4 years of specific experience in the Quality & Process Excellence roles in a US Healthcare BPO.

- Overall 5 years of total experience.

- Holds a bachelor's degree as a minimum educational requirement, with a preference for a master's degree in a related field. 

- Black Belt Certification in Lean and Six Sigma is preferable. 

- Exhibits exceptional analytical skills and a history of leading process improvement initiatives within the BPO sector, either at the process or program level. 

- Possesses a creative and innovative mindset, constantly seeking unique solutions to challenges. 

- Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in utilising Microsoft Office applications and excels in remote work environments. 

- Proficient in articulating complex statistical analyses through simplified presentations tailored for business audiences. 

- Proficient in creating comprehensive PowerPoint presentations for various review purposes. 

- Showcases strong team building and leadership abilities.
