Summary Description

The Quality Administrator supports the facility’s Quality Management System and works closely with site leadership, production, and other departments to help ensure products and processes meet customer requirements and established quality standards.

This position supports quality documentation, reporting, audits, inspections, testing, material review, customer feedback investigations, and other activities designed to maintain and continuously improve product quality and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and participate in activities outlined within the Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Support site management in achieving customer requirements, quality objectives, and established quality standards.

  • Track, maintain, and report quality metrics and performance data.

  • Respond to and assist with resolving quality issues at various levels throughout the facility.

  • Perform internal quality audits as required.

  • Conduct quality-related activities including:

    • Product and material inspections

    • Testing and sampling

    • Gauge calibration

    • Quality verification activities

  • Review incoming raw materials and support decisions regarding material disposition.

  • Maintain quality documentation and document control processes.

  • Support the validation and maintenance of product and process specifications at the plant level.

  • Investigate customer feedback, complaints, Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs), and other quality-related events.

  • Assist with identifying and documenting corrective actions related to quality concerns.

  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with Production and other departments to communicate and address quality concerns.

  • Participate in Global Performance System (GPS) activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform additional quality-related duties and projects as assigned.

  • You have previous experience in quality, manufacturing, production, or a related environment.

  • You have strong attention to detail and are comfortable working with quality documentation and records.

  • You have experience with inspections, testing, sampling, or quality verification processes.

  • You are comfortable working with computers and entering, maintaining, and reporting quality data.

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • You can effectively communicate quality concerns with employees, supervisors, and other departments.

  • You have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • You are comfortable reviewing specifications, procedures, and other controlled documents.

  • You can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

  • You work well independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • You are interested in supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
