The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) develops Individual Life Plans, Transition Plans, learning objectives, and training methodology.  This person will observe individuals, review data and progress, and revise programs based on individual needs. Will also complete assessments for the Individual Life Plan, and ensure that any discrepancies or conflicts between all disciplines related to assessments or treatment plans are resolved.  This person serves as the chairperson for all meetings for individuals on assigned caseload.  The QIDP will ensure active treatment is ongoing, develop activity schedules, assist individuals in becoming gainfully employed off-campus, and obtain community opportunities for individuals to participate in that complement their Enrichment Center classes and interests.

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field or related discipline   

    Must have at least one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities

    Must have a driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance  

    Must be able to meet criminal background and drug screening standards

Skills Required
