About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Qt Expert/Solution Consultant to join Bosch Software and Digital Solutions' portfolio team. This senior position requires an industry veteran who will drive Qt-based solutions, lead presales activities, and build our Qt service practice for various clients across domains. The role focuses primarily on Automotive and Healthcare domains, combining technical excellence with business acumen to deliver high-value solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead technical solutions and architectures using Qt technology stack for complex client requirements
Lead presales activities and technical discussions with customers, providing expert consultation on Qt-based solutions
Build and mentor a Qt services delivery team, establishing best practices and driving technical excellence
Guide clients through strategic technology transitions, including Qt5 to Qt6 migrations
Develop and execute technical strategies aligned with business objectives
Establish architecture and design principles for large-scale Qt implementations
Drive innovation in HMI solutions, particularly in Automotive and Healthcare domains
Provide thought leadership through technical publications, presentations, and community engagement
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience :
12+ Years
Mandatory/requires Skills :
12+ years of comprehensive experience with Qt framework and ecosystem
Proven expertise in Qt/QML development, including significant experience with Qt5 and Qt6
Strong track record of leading large-scale Qt implementations in Automotive or Healthcare domains
Demonstrated experience in presales activities and customer-facing technical consultations
Deep understanding of Qt toolchain, performance optimization, and architectural patterns
Expert-level proficiency in C++ and modern programming practices
Experience in building and leading technical teams
Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of Qt framework internals and optimization techniques
Expertise in Qt5 to Qt6 migration strategies and implementation
Strong understanding of embedded systems and cross-platform development
Proficiency in modern C++, QML, and associated technologies
Experience with automotive standards (AUTOSAR, MISRA) and/or healthcare regulations
Leadership & Business Skills:
Proven ability to build and scale technical service practices
Experience in presales and solution consulting
Strong team leadership and mentoring capabilities
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Qt certification programs
Contributions to Qt community or open-source projects
Published technical articles or conference presentations
Experience with automotive HMI frameworks (Android Automotive, QNX, etc.)
Knowledge of medical device software development processes
Familiarity with Bosch ecosystem and methodologies
