Are you the person we are looking for?

As part of our growing Japan Sales team, you will be responsible for selling QNX products, services, and solutions to our largest named accounts in Japan. You will leverage your experience and professional network within the industrial automation, robotics, and medical device markets to drive strategic engagement and long-term growth.

Key to your success will be the creation and execution of highly effective account plans, centered on building trusted, long-term customer relationships and proposing value-based solutions that enable customers to achieve their strategic and business objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Deep dive into a portfolio of named strategic accounts in Japan, developing a strong understanding of customer strategies, product roadmaps, and end markets
  • Align the QNX value proposition with customer platforms and end products in industrial automation, robotics, and medical devices
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level customer relationships, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with the extended sales team, including Field Application Engineers, Customer Success, Regional Sales, and Business Development
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation, closing, and revenue recognition
  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and strong CRM hygiene
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives and work cross-functionally with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements
  • Represent QNX as a trusted advisor and technology ambassador at industry events, conferences, and executive-level customer meetings in Japan
  • Engage proactively with key partners across the ecosystem to drive joint opportunities, strengthen solution alignment, and expand market influence
  • Travel within Japan as required (up to 50%)

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Strategic or Global Account Manager, or managing complex, high-value enterprise accounts in Japan
  • A strong track record of consistent sales quota achievement, ideally including over-achievement through new business and account expansion
  • Solid knowledge of the real-time embedded software market, with domain expertise in industrial automation, robotics, and/or medical devices
  • Demonstrated experience in account planning, negotiation, and closing large, multi-stakeholder opportunities
  • Experience in consultative and solution selling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A strong teamplayer mindset, able to collaborate effectively across sales, technical, and crossfunctional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (MBA a plus), or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ability to conduct business in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) is essential
