We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to work with the QNX OS and Virtualization product management team on roadmap and strategy across various QNX Virtualization products and services.

You must possess a strong technical background and have recent experience in an automotive or embedded systems or technical product management.

This role includes both technical product management and product marketing responsibilities. This includes leading QNX virtualization products throughout the entire product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer and market requirements, defining and evangelizing the product roadmap and vision, and working closely with engineering and customers on an ongoing basis to deliver winning products.

You will:

  • Own the product lifecycle for QNX hardware support, WI-FI, Power Management, Graphics & Networking, from strategic planning through to successful delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead roadmap alignment efforts by collaborating with top-tier silicon vendors such as Nvidia, Qualcomm, NXP, and AMD. This includes synchronizing hardware and software roadmaps, managing board procurement, overseeing software integration, and engaging in joint customer initiatives across diverse sectors including Automotive, Industrial Automation, Medical, and Robotics.

  • Champion the go-to-market strategy for QNX product launches and feature rollouts, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision, product roadmap, and overarching business goals. This includes equipping and enabling the sales organization with a deep understanding of the QNX value proposition to drive market success.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with software engineering, legal, finance, sales and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution from product concept to general availability.

  • Shape compelling product positioning and messaging in partnership with Marketing, clearly articulating value propositions and market differentiation. This includes hosting global webinars and supporting high-impact marketing events worldwide

  • Act as the voice of the customer, synthesizing feedback from strategic accounts, field teams, and market signals to inform product direction and maximize customer success.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and market analysis, identifying emerging trends, threats, and opportunities to maintain a leadership position in the virtualization space.
  • Serve as a thought leader and brand ambassador, representing QNX at industry events, webinars, customer briefings, and executive-level engagements.

You will have:

  • Bachelors or master’s in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma.
  • Significant product management experience related to Automotive, Industrial or Robotic systems and/or other mission critical embedded devices.
  • Proven expertise in Embedded Systems for edge and embedded platforms, with additional exposure to IoT and desktop environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and prioritize product requirements, balancing technical feasibility, customer impact, and business value.
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge spanning engineering, product strategy, finance, and marketing, enabling effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Strong technical background and customer service skills, to be able to successfully engage with automotive and general embedded customers.

It would be great if you have:

  • Knowledge of embedded operating systems, hypervisor, and development tool software
  • Knowledge and interest in functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C) and/or security standards (e.g., ISO 21434)
