Are you the person we are looking for?

As the Director of Core Product Engineering Operations, you will be contributing directly to the vision, and implementation of end-to-end product delivery and optimization strategies.  This is a brand new role, where you will be building out a new team, reporting directly to the VP, Core Product Engineering and being an integral part of the Engineering leadership team.

In this cross-functional role, you will:

  • Work as a strategic information conduit from Product Management to Core Product Engineering
  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives
  • Ensure inter-domain communication flow and information share
  • Contribute to overarching process improvements and delivery metrics
  • Coordinate with project teams ensuring delivery accuracy, traceability, quality and product features
  • Coordinate with the multiple development organizations, and our development operations on norms and standardization of tooling and strategy therein
  • Represent the Core Product Engineering Organization, and the products developed, as part of marketing and sales efforts
  • Collect and articulate data points as they relate to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Provide data driven feedback and guidance for improving the SDLC

You will have extensive experience in:

  • Driving communication effectively & efficiently throughout an entire development organization
  • Product/Program and Project management
  • Thought leadership and team direction, demonstrating strong stakeholder management
  • Operational efficiency management in large software development teams
  • Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Software Development Lifecycle management
  • Creative problem solving, demonstrating accomplished resilience & influencing skills
  • Requirements management tooling (JAMA/DOORS/Enterprise Architect)
  • Data analysis and modeling
  • Driving accountability throughout a cross-functional software development organization
