PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description
Job Overview
· Ability to lead and develop quality team consisting of senior engineers for a start-up plant
· Actively contribute to achievement of plant targets (including quality, cost, delivery)
· Responsible for PgP5 process landscape and certification (including ISO and IATF)
· Attendance and coordination of audits (process & system audits), customer audits
· Responsible for Plant quality system including value stream quality, FMEA, ESD, Line release etc.
· Manage the document release, process chart, working instruction etc.
· Support business planning
Your new role
As a QMM Manager you will be managing the following areas: -
· Overall contact window for all quality related topics of the plant (incl. internally, externally and plant to plant)
· Hiring and leading of Quality team in start-up plant incl. strong competence development and giving orientation
· Deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality targets
· Defining and maintaining of the plant process landscape and support project assessment (QGC0 until QGC5)
· Responsible to ensure implementation of ESD standards in the plant
· PFMEA coordination in the plant
· Work closely with production team on cost topics
· Coordinate and QM representation in the plant and value stream related quality topics (like TRB, machine release, methods, scrap and block process, calibration etc.)
· Provide active support in the plant set-up activities
· Close cooperation with lead plant and other plants for product release procedures (PPAP, APQP, PSW etc.), lead plant audit, relocation audits, all the external audits to release the plant.
· Cooperation with service providers for quality analysis
· Contact person for RtP1/QMC regarding customer complaints and handling of customer complaint: guidance of co-investigation and complete 8D report and relevant activities incl. implementation of the countermeasures
· Responsible for plant documentation management system
· Responsible for Risk Analysis LORA and concession
· Take up additional tasks as directed by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
What you will need to succeed
- A 5 to 10 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferable at least 5 years of related field of semiconductor QMM field
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics & Engineering Science with semiconductor exposure
- Strong communication skills and able to transfer technical knowledge with various operations team members
- Leadership capabilities & influencing skills
- Ability to work accurately and accountable with high integrity
- Strong analytical skills, decision making strength
- Knowledge on PPAP/PSW/Problem Solving Tools, Quality Methods and QM System
- Well versed on correlations quality, cost and delivery, derive cost saving measures
- Result oriented
- Readiness to reduce Co2 according to company target
- Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for training
