Credence has an immediate need for a Qlik Sense Developer to support large-scale digital modernization efforts for mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) systems with massive national impact. This role provides expert-level support across sustainment lifecycle management while leading the design, development, and optimization of Qlik solutions. The developer will build scalable dashboards, reporting solutions, and data models; integrate with diverse data sources; and ensure secure, high-performance delivery of insights to stakeholders. This position requires both technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in Qlik Sense, SQL, and large-scale DBMSThis position is based in Credence’s corporate offices located in Tyson’s Corner in McLean, VA or Dayton OH. This role is on-boarding now.


Requirements
  • Lead the design of end-to-end BI architectures using Qlik Sense and QlikView. Develop scalable data models and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise hosting standards are met.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain advanced Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Leverage advanced scripting (Set Analysis, QVD optimization, incremental loading) to support large datasets and complex KPIs.
  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines using Qlik scripting/connectors and SQL to integrate data from diverse sources (Oracle, SQL Server, APIs, legacy systems, files).
  • Manage Qlik Sense Enterprise environments (QMC), including application deployment, user/role management, Section Access, task scheduling, and system monitoring.
  • Develop and manage automated reporting solutions using Qlik NPrinting, enabling secure and scalable report distribution.
  • Implement Qlik security models aligned with DoD standards. Contribute to data governance frameworks ensuring accuracy, auditability, and compliance.
  • Prepare program-level and user-level documentation; enforce IA, QA, and CM procedures across BI solutions.
  • Provide direction to junior developers, ensuring deliverables meet performance, security, and sustainment requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, including BI/ETL/database development.
  • Proven, advanced experience with Qlik Sense (QlikView a plus), including scripting, Set Analysis, QVD optimization, and data modeling.
  • Expert-level understanding of sustainment lifecycle management activities, particularly for enterprise BI and DoD applications.
  • Experience administering Qlik Sense Enterprise environments (QMC), including security (Section Access), scheduling, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Qlik NPrinting and/or other automated BI reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or hybrid development methodologies, supporting iterative BI delivery.
  • Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance; Secret clearance preferred.
  • Qlik certifications (e.g., Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Data Architect, System Administrator) and DoD 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+).
