We are looking for a skilled Qlik Administrator with 3–8 years of experience in administering, monitoring, and supporting enterprise Qlik environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Qlik platform administration, proactive system monitoring, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, security, and availability of Qlik applications while collaborating with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless analytics experience.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage Qlik environments, optimize system performance, resolve production issues, and implement best practices for platform administration.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Qlik Sense and QlikView environments across development, testing, and production.
  • Monitor platform health, server performance, application usage, scheduled tasks, and resource utilization to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, application failures, reload tasks, security rules, connectivity, and user access.
  • Manage user authentication, authorization, security rules, licenses, and access management.
  • Schedule, monitor, and optimize data reloads, task execution, and application publishing processes.
  • Perform regular system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning activities.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment, scalability, and performance.
  • Identify root causes of production incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
  • Coordinate platform upgrades, patch installations, migrations, and environment refresh activities.
  • Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for Qlik environments.
  • Create and maintain administration documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, database, and network teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
  • Monitor logs, alerts, and system metrics to proactively identify potential risks before they impact users.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and governance policies.
Required SkillsMust-Have Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView Administration
  • Expertise in Qlik platform monitoring and health management
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience managing Qlik Management Console (QMC)
  • Knowledge of Qlik services, reload tasks, scheduling, and application publishing
  • Experience with user management, security rules, and license administration
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and server optimization
  • Experience working with logs, system diagnostics, and issue resolution
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Qlik SaaS administration
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Understanding of Active Directory and authentication mechanisms
  • Experience with ITIL processes and incident management tools
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and data connectivity
  • Exposure to CI/CD practices for analytics deployments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in Qlik administration, platform support, or business intelligence infrastructure.
  • Relevant Qlik certifications will be an added advantage.
