Responsibilities
• Conduct QHS Induction, Nokia Life Saving Rule and FASTEN for Nokia team and Suppliers
• Facilitate other H&S training – Work at Height and Rescue, Rigging and Lifting, Defensive Driving, Electrical training, first aid, EMF/RF training etc
• Ensure Nokia Road Safety, Working at Height, Electrical, Rigging and Lifting and FASTEN compliance.
• Ensure site quality process is being followed and implemented within Services projects.
• Facilitate Health & Safety Risk Assessment for the projects and implement control measures to mitigate the risk.
• Conduct site QHS inspection to ensure field team compliance with Health & Safety requirements and Quality standards (expected 75% of time in field doing QHS inspections)
• Ensure NDPd and NDPc used for uploading QHS inspection results
• Ensure NDPd AIML PPE check, Hazard Detection Lens and Crew Check in / Check out used properly by suppliers
• Review and feedback to supplier on their QHS inspections and follow up corrective actions
• Conduct weekly governance meeting with suppliers
• Prepare and circulate project QHS report and follow-up and corrective/preventive actions internally and from Suppliers.
• Participate in internal and external meetings and represent QHS
• Keep QHS records up to date in SharePoint
Knowledge & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Telecommunications, or related field with 4–7 years of experience in telecom QHS/HSE auditing, field safety inspection, or quality assurance roles.
• Strong experience in conducting Health & Safety inductions and compliance training, including Nokia Life Saving Rules, FASTEN, and other mandatory safety programs for internal teams and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to deliver and facilitate technical HSE training, including Working at Height and Rescue, Rigging and Lifting, Electrical Safety, Defensive Driving, First Aid, and EMF/RF awareness.
• Strong field experience in conducting site inspections and audits (major field-based role ~75%), ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards across telecom rollout projects.
• Experience in enforcing compliance with Nokia HSE standards, including Road Safety, Electrical Safety, Working at Height, Rigging and Lifting, and FASTEN procedures.
• Ability to facilitate and validate project risk assessments, ensuring proper identification of hazards and implementation of control measures.
• Experience using digital HSE systems such as NDPd and NDPc, including uploading inspection results and monitoring compliance through AI-driven safety tools (PPE checks, hazard detection, crew check-in/out).
• Strong capability in reviewing supplier performance, providing feedback, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively.
• Experience in conducting and coordinating weekly governance meetings with suppliers and stakeholders on QHS performance.
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and distribute QHS reports and dashboards, ensuring visibility of risks, incidents, and compliance status.
Skills Required
