At Micron, we are seeking a dedicated and driven DMS Engineer to join our outstanding team in Taiwan. This rare opportunity allows you to build a significant impact by leading production discrepancy cases and driving FAB excursion case reduction. As a DMS Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing occurrences of production nonconformities through the application of the 8D method to identify root causes.
- Reducing FAB site excursion cases by implementing proactive measures.
- Hosting continuous improvement activities to recognize and reward outstanding performance in handling excursion events.
- Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams to implement solutions effectively.
- Leading and mentoring a team to ensure detailed execution of tasks.
- Developing and maintaining premier standards for deviation management processes.
- Tracking and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensuring strict consistency to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing production deviation cases and applying the 8D method.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive solutions.
- Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and driven demeanor to successfully conduct and sustain improvements.
- Proficiency in English and an additional East Asian language is helpful.
