SUMMARY
Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures and codes.
- Performs audits to ensure compliance
- Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications required for AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, & API Inspectors. This is an individual who would generally have a minimum of 5 to 7 years as a top craftsman, or 4 years craft and an Associate's Degree, or an engineer with a BS Degree and 2 years' experience.

Skills Required

AWS/CWI certification (Certified Welding Inspector)
ASNT NDT certification
API Inspector certification
5-7 years as a top craftsman OR 4 years craft + Associate's Degree OR BS engineer + 2 years' experience
Working knowledge of company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes
Ability to perform audits, complete records, maintain tools/equipment, and comply with safety/PPE requirements
Physical ability per job spec (standing ~60%, lifting/carrying up to 50 lb, pushing/pulling up to 70 ft-lb)
