Ferring+You
You will be responsible for supporting the medical and scientific position of Ferring’s entity key Gastroenterology, Urology, and Reproductive / Women’s Health initiatives, via successful implementation of production unity to serve regional markets, thereby supporting the corporate objectives of the company.
Your day at Ferring
Perform QC analyses, including instrument check, verification or calibration. Prepare and review raw data and results documentation. (starting materials, intermediates, bulk, finished goods, stabilities). Carry out all activities in compliance with the relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
Perform internal maintenance and control of QC equipment. Document and report result according to GMP regulations. Validation of methods and qualification of instruments.
Prepare, perform and document aseptic sampling (surfaces*, air*, release and stability samples, API and excipients) (*environmental monitoring), Incubation and evaluation of media. Documentation according to GMP regulations.
Review and evaluate microbiological tests (e.g. colony counts Identification of microorganisms). Follow compendial methods. Perform activities in controlled environment under strict hygienic conditions. Perform instrument check, verification or calibration. Prepare and document raw data and results.
Lab relevant activities. Ensure that the laboratories continuously have clean glassware, sufficient reagents and other daily utensils or disposables. Stock-keeping and inventory management of consumables.
Participate in auto maintenance on his/her line. Perform internal maintenance and control of QC equipment. Assist in validation of methods and qualification of instruments in QC and production. Support process validation in production.
Support and carry out continuous improvement activities within the department and in production.
Support the training of new employees
Support data trending and investigations/deviations. Assist in investigations
Support production activities when necessary (packaging or similar)
Behind our innovation…There’s you
Bachelor’s or above degree in pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacy, analytical chemistry, microbiology or related majors
Preferable: Pharmacist with active license (STRA)
At least 2 years’ experience in the similar field of pharmaceutical laboratory; Alternatively, a Lab technician with at least 4 years of core technology experience.
Experience with GMP documents and guidelines
Able to work independently with general supervision
Good English language skills spoken & written
Ability to work in controlled environment following strict hygienic rules
Experience in handling of pharmaceutical raw materials and/or high potent hazardous substances
Ability to work with electronic, computerized systems (Empower, TrackWise, Veeva) and related software applications
Motivated to participate in basic and advanced training
