QC Specialist - FTL
Essential Job Duties
• Visually inspect parts before being shipped to customers – checking for correct part, part number, quantity, any potential damage, etc.
• Support tasks/assignments involved in the functional test lab from Operations Manager
• Apply proper seal/dry packaging according to the moisture sensitivity level of the components.
• Communicate with component manufacturers to verify the component information including but not limited to part marking, firmware, serials, etc.
• Interpret spec sheet, measure dimensions and perform inspection under optical scopes when necessary
• Generate discrepancy reports and support functional testing
• Interface with procurement specialists and account reps to resolve any issues with material received or shipped
• Support operations in day to day activities
Competencies
• Excellent organization Skills
• Strong communication, hands on and problem solving skills
• Ability to work fast in a fast paced environment
• Able to learn quickly and attention to details
• Able to carry/lift components in original packaging when necessary
• Knowledge of precision measuring devised is helpful
Experience
• 1+ years’ experience in QC
• Electronics industry experience a plus
Software Requirements
• MS Office, strong internet researching skills also required
