Job Title: QC Micro & Lab Services Intern
Location: Singapore
About the role:
This position is required to perform routine microbiological testing using validated test methods and qualified instruments and provide services to the Quality Control Laboratories on Sample Management, documentation management and inventory management.
How you will contribute:
Routine Testing
- Perform microbiological testing, namely bioburden test, endotoxin test, environment monitoring (EM), and plate reading.
- Microbiological sample types include critical utilities, in-process/ Bulk Drug Substances (BDS), raw materials, investigational non-routine samples.
- Perform sterilization cycle using qualified autoclave; perform depyrogenation using qualified cycle.
- Perform liquating on Process and Non-Protein samples on a daily basis.
Sample and Documentation Management
- Receipt of Routine and Non-Routine (NRR) Sample and distribute sample to their respective storage locations.
- Performs peer review for verification of task and data related to Sample Management
- ECC controller to generate control copy of document and form for laboratory testing and perform reconciliation on the completed test form.
- Manage tracking system of NRR sample and ECC reconciliation.
Inventory Management
- Assist lab service peer to stock up the consumable to laboratory (lifting of heavy item <20kg with buddy system is required)
- Sanitize and wipe down of consumable for Microbiology Laboratory
General Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance for laboratory equipment, such as Temperature Controlled Object (TCO), Biosafety Cabinet (BSC), etc.
- Perform peer review on equipment logbook.
- Have a good understanding on 5S methodology; report/ highlight issues or unsafe act.
- Ensure and maintain good housekeeping; ensure sufficient inventory to prevent any delays in testing.
- Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.
- Commitment to a fair and respectful relationship to others and behavior in accordance with Takeda's Code of Conduct.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
