About Us:
Maverick Payments is a family-owned and privately held full-service payment provider. Located in Calabasas, California, Maverick has created innovative technology designed for sales organizations, such as ISO’s and ISV’s, looking to monetize payments by reselling our white-labeled payments stack. Our payment products include merchant acquiring services, a proprietary gateway, ACH processing, fraud & chargeback tools, analytics, and other value-add services. Maverick’s team includes underwriting, risk management, compliance & legal, technology & product development, on-boarding, customer support, information technology, and more.
About the Position: 
Reporting the A.D. Boarding & Maintenance, the Boarding Manager is responsible for managing staff as well as monitoring and maintaining all QC processes, procedures, and daily duties within the Quality Control division of the department which also include merchant account onboarding, and activations. 
  • Planning and directing the work of Department employees using independent judgment within Company parameters. 
  • Coordination of hiring, training for all employees within perspective department. 
  • Advising on policy and procedure enhancements to enhance business development throughout the Company. 
  • Recommending and implementing processes and/or strategies for quality assurance based on business forecasting and support needs.  
  • Exercising independent judgment, discretion and decision making related to department escalations and responsibilities. 
  • Managing updates or changes to existing policies and procedures related to Quality Assurance. 
  • Managing updates or changes to existing policies and procedures related to Quality Control. 
  • Overseeing and directing internal system ticket management, monthly assignments, projects, etc. as well as establishing SLAs for department employees. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field a plus.
  • Extensive TSYS/PPM/CBOS knowledge 
  • 5-10 years merchant processing experience working with software user interfaces within the merchant processing field. 
  • 2-5 years in a leadership role specific to merchant services. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Microsoft Excel. 
  • Understanding of various verticals and associated risks. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise with team members and leadership of various levels. 
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities with the ability to effectively guide and motivate team members to achieve project objectives. 
  • Ability to ensure that one's own and other's work and information are complete and accurate.  
  • The ability to follow up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. 
  • Understanding emerging technologies and trends in the payments space and understand how an organization must change considering internal and external trends and influences.

Pay Range: $79K- $85K 
This position is and onsite position reporting to daily to our offices in Calabasas, CA
