You will join our Quality Control team in Singapore as a Direct Staff member. You will perform and lead routine sample testing, sample management and laboratory activities to ensure materials and finished products meet company and regulatory standards. You will work closely with laboratory colleagues, production and quality partners. We value accuracy, clear communication and a collaborative approach. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using established methods and instruments
Manage sample receipt, triage, storage, chain of custody and disposition to ensure traceability.
Investigate out-of-specification or atypical results and support corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain and support calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
Record and review data following good documentation practices and support data trending for quality decisions.
Contribute to method transfers, verification/validation activities and continuous improvement projects.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related life science field.
Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience in an analytical environment.
Practical knowledge of good laboratory practices and good documentation practices.
Able to work on-site in Singapore (this role is on-site).
Clear written and spoken English with accurate documentation skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team under routine shift patterns when required.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
Experience in biological testing, microbiology or biochemical assays.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems, LIMS or electronic data management.
Experience leading investigations, CAPA and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge of equipment qualification, calibration and validation processes.
Strong coaching (really be able to coach as a associate?), communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Excel and basic data analysis for trending and reporting.
