QA/QC Engineer

What is your role? 

You are responsible for ensuring that our hydraulic cylinders meet the highest standards and that our suppliers are consistently trained and evaluated. You are the ambassador for product compliance within Kramp.

You do this by: 

• leading (international) audits in the production processes and quality assurance at suppliers. This also means travelling to other countries from time to time. 
• checking, reporting and advising / adjusting the production process of the supplier: through audits, complaints analysis, quality reviews, making proposals for improvement, adjusting documents, etc. To ensure the right quality of hydraulic cylinders, raw materials and related processes of suppliers. 
• guiding and advising new and existing suppliers in setting up all relevant processes for the production so that the production process is as effective and efficient as possible.  
• advising management on quality conditions when choosing a new supplier for hydraulic cylinders for making the right choice. 
• being responsible for the development, improvement, and monitoring of the product compliance process; like technical files for cylinders. 
• co-creating, managing and actively communicating the quality standards by incorporating these standards into standards sheets so that the correct standards are applied. 

Your team: 

You will work together with 9 colleagues in a dynamic and driven Hydraulic Cylinder Solution team in Varsseveld and you will report to the Manager HCS / Category Manager.  

Who are you? 

For this job we have a couple of requirements:    

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in quality management or other relevant field 
•  >2 years experience in applying quality systems and process optimization 
• Good knowledge of production processes in the metal industry
• You are confident and have experience in independently initiating and leading projects 
• You can extract insights from data (e.g. Excel, Tableau) and translate them into advice 
• You have excellent spoken and written skills in English and Dutch  
• Openness to travel to Varsseveld for 4 days per week 
• Openness to travel to other locations and countries, on average 3 days per month
